Deli Manager Role
Leading a busy and successful deli department requires strong commercial awareness, expertise in food safety, HSE, and cost control.
The key responsibilities of this role include managing day-to-day operations, creating staff rosters, monitoring margins, controlling waste, and driving profitability.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be regularly reviewed to ensure the team is meeting targets.
As a Deli Manager you will maintain top standards in food safety, lead and motivate your team, and ensure compliance with company policies.
* A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Deli Manager, preferably in a supermarket or forecourt environment.
* A strong understanding of food safety, waste control, and HSE requirements is essential.
* Proven ability to manage costs and achieve key performance targets.
* A positive, hands-on leader who can inspire their team.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
