Grade III Clerical Officer

Location:
Limerick
Hours:
35 hours full time hours (9-5)
Duration:
Temporary 3 month initial contract
Pay scale:
€*****- €***** (depending on previous relevant public sector experience)
Purpose of the Role:
To provide administrative and clerical support within the Recruitment or Employee Relations department to ensure the efficient operation of day-to-day HR functions.
Previous experience working in a HR setting is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general clerical and administrative support to the department.
Prepare and process correspondence, reports, and documentation.
Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems.
Respond to queries from staff and external contacts in a professional manner.
Assist with scheduling interviews, meetings, and appointments.
Support onboarding and document processing for new staff.
Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
Carry out other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Essential Requirements
Previous clerical or administrative experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
