Job Context
An Post Commerce Business Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of An Post. The company is the An Post business process outsourcer of choice for An Post and operates at Enterprise House, Kilrush, Co Clare. It also provides data processing & payment services to Revenue Commissioners, An Garda Síochána and a number of major utility companies within the Irish sector.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations of APC Business Solutions, the Team Leader will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating An Post Money team and provide effective guidance.
As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.
Our Team Leaders will receive continuous development and coaching to help reach our goal to develop a high performing team who reflect the behaviours and values implicit in high quality customer service.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and support a team within An Post Commerce Business Solutions to deliver best-in-class customer service for our customers.
* Set clear team goals, delegate tasks and set deadlines.
* Create process maps, work flows and step by step guides for complex tasks.
* Advocate change and continuous improvement supporting a team to deliver the highest quality of service for customers.
* Accountable for the daily performance of the team against Key Performance Indicators; gathering key performance metrics, monitoring, reviewing and providing regular feedback.
* Responsible for ensuring that the team follow all training and compliance requirements; respond to any risks and issues identified and work with the management team to share and implement any improvement opportunities.
* Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
* Encourage creativity and risk-taking. Recognise high performance and reward accomplishments.
* Demonstrate the flexibility to work with other Business Solutions Team Leaders as part of the leadership team, and lead, coach and support other teams to cover leave or absences.
* Drive a team forward with passion, enthusiasm, inspiration, and motivation. Invest time in the people you lead to determine their strengths, needs and priorities.
