With over 100 years of construction expertise, they offers a strong safety-first culture, excellent professional support, and exposure to a wide range of public and private sector projects.This is asite-based position, ideal for a degree-qualified H&S professional who has already gained solid construction site experience in Ireland and is looking to further develop their career within a reputable Tier 2 contractor.You will work closely with theHealth & Safety Manager,Contracts Manager, andDirector of Construction, and benefit from ongoing mentorship through the SHEQ team and monthly independent site audits.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and maintain a strong site safety culture at all times.Monitor, evaluate, and act on any site safety risks, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.Support the SHEQ Manager in identifying training needs and staff development.Assist with internal health & safety audits and attend relevant site meetings.Prepare and maintain safety documentation: method statements, risk assessments, safety statements.Contribute to updates and improvements of company policies and procedures.Ensure all safety performance standards are maintained and communicated effectively across site teams.Skills & Experience RequiredProfessional H&S degree qualification (essential).4-5+ years' Irish construction site experience in a safety role.Proven track record of promoting safe, accident-free environments.Experience with ISO standards (9001, 14001, and SafeT Cert advantageous.Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and best practice.Experience preparing tender safety documentation is a plus.Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.Strong organisational, administrative, and IT proficiency.Full driver's licence, Safe Pass, and Manual Handling certification required.Project Exposure IncludesPublic and private sector projects such as:CommercialIndustrialEducationalHeritageLeisureDesign & BuildResidentialTraditional and D&B delivery models
