What You'll Do
Own the Voice AI backend roadmap end-to-end.
Scope and prioritize features around STT, TTS, VAD, and LLM integrations.
Define requirements for programmable voice primitives (call control, media injection, partial ASR).
Partner with engineering to deliver improvements in latency, reliability, and multi-engine support.
Establish metrics and feedback loops to measure performance and UX.
Act as the "glue" between product, engineering, and leadership.
What We're Looking For
Strong background in programmable voice: SIP, WebRTC, call control APIs.
Familiarity with AI pipelines (STT, TTS, LLM orchestration).
Proven success delivering backend or distributed systems products.
Hands-on comfort with APIs (Postman, cURL) and technical specs.
Decisive, opinionated, and able to drive priorities in fast-moving environments.
Dealbreakers
Must have real-time voice experience (telephony, SIP/WebRTC).
Must have experience shipping backend infrastructure products.
