The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Warehouse Operator role will make an impact:
* To carry out receipt, storage and distribution duties as directed in the assigned area of warehousing.
* To carry out all warehouse operations in accordance with Rottapharm Ltd. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* To assist, as a member of the Warehouse team, towards achievement of Production output targets by prompt delivery and collection of materials to/from designated Production areas.
* To assist in Packaging operations as required when trained in specific packaging tasks.
* To carry out all warehouse operations in the designated area in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
* To ensure observed damaged goods are immediately brought to the attention of the Warehouse Team leader / QA and not issued to Production / Shipment.
* To complete all documentation relating to warehouse activities as required in a timely fashion. Documentation includes Stock Record Sheets, GI dockets, Stock Movement Forms, Waste Logbook(s), Cleaning records.
* To immediately notify the Warehouse Team Leader of any deviation from SOPs and/or deviations in the standard warehouse practices.
* To maintain the warehouse in a clean and tidy state at all times during warehousing activities in compliance with 5S standards.
* To perform housekeeping duties as assigned in the Warehouse.
* To return materials to appropriate rack locations in good condition
* To participate in all training and assessment activities related to the job of Warehouse Operator. Eg. Forklift driving, GMP training.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
* Up to date licence for turret truck and forklift
* No minimum qualification required
