This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and motivated doctors to develop further in ahigh-acuity, team-oriented environmentwith exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties and perioperative care.Whether you're aiming to strengthen your clinical acumen or prepare for future specialist training, this role provides robust experience within a structured and supportive setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAnaesthetic Management : Deliver safe and effective anaesthesia care for elective and emergency surgeries across multiple specialties.Pre-Operative Assessment : Participate in pre-assessment clinics and optimise patients prior to procedures.Intraoperative Monitoring : Administer anaesthesia and monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures.Post-Anaesthesia Care : Provide post-operative care, including pain management and recovery monitoring.Critical Care Support : Contribute to critical care services where applicable, including emergency airway management.Multidisciplinary Collaboration : Work closely with surgical teams, fellow anaesthetists, theatre nurses, and ICU staff.On-Call Duties : Participate in the anaesthetics on-call rota, including emergency theatre and resuscitation support.Documentation : Maintain clear, accurate records and comply with all hospital documentation and safety protocols.RequirementsIMC Registration : Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (General Division) .Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience working as an Anaesthetic Registrar (experience in Ireland preferred).Work Eligibility : Must be legally permitted to work in Ireland.How to ApplyPlease submit yourCVdetailing your anaesthetics experience and current availability.
