Registered General Nurse - Nursing Home | Swords, County Dublin
We are currently recruiting a Registered General Nurse (RGN) for a modern nursing home located in Swords, County Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and motivated nurse to join a professional team dedicated to providing high-quality care to elderly residents in a supportive and friendly environment.
Requirements
Current NMBI registration (Registered General Nurse / First Level Nurse)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for working with elderly residents
Ability to work well as part of a team
Knowledge of HIQA Standards
Previous experience in elderly care or nursing homes is desirable
Previous supervisory experience is an advantage
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care and ensure residents' needs are met with dignity and respect
Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and report any concerns appropriately
Develop, implement and regularly review individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families and healthcare professionals
Administer medications safely and maintain accurate documentation in line with NMBI guidelines and company policies
Maintain clear and accurate clinical records for all residents
Conduct regular resident assessments and health checks
Provide clear handovers to colleagues at the end of each shift
Promote a safe and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team
