Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist
Monaghan Town is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join their Primary Care Team.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in the assessment, treatment, and management of adults living in the community, providing advanced clinical expertise, supporting the development of junior staff, and contributing to service improvements aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and reducing hospital admissions.
Responsibilities
* Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment and intervention for adults presenting with MSK issues, chronic conditions, mobility difficulties, functional decline, and post-acute rehabilitation needs.
* Undertake domiciliary visits where required, assessing patients in their home environments and designing functional, goal-oriented rehabilitation programmes.
* Lead on the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with service users, carers, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
* Offer clinical support, guidance, and supervision to staff grade physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students as needed.
* Work collaboratively with GPs, Public Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated care pathways.
* Contribute to service planning, audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives within the Primary Care team.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation in line with CORU, HSE, and local governance standards.
* Participate in regular clinical supervision, in-service training, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
* BSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent recognised qualification).
* CORU registration (or eligibility).
* Minimum three years post-qualification experience, ideally including MSK, rehabilitation, or community physiotherapy.
* Demonstrated clinical reasoning, advanced assessment skills, and the ability to manage a complex caseload independently.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Experience mentoring or supervising students or junior staff is desirable.
* Full clean driver's licence and access to a vehicle for domiciliary visits.
