Position Overview: As an Elderly Care Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing holistic care to our elderly residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall quality of life. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each resident. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and person-centered nursing care to elderly residents in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, emotional, and social needs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor residents' health status, vital signs, and response to treatment, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care, while respecting their dignity, privacy, and autonomy.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with current registration in Ireland.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in elderly care nursing preferred.
