What we are looking for:
* Must have demonstrated superior management skills in previous responsibilities.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience desired.
* Previous experience in a senior chef related position.
* HACCP certification and knowledge of safe food handling practices
* Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Must possess basic computer skills.
* Ability to apply supervisory /management soft skills.
Responsibilities:
* Previous experience in a similar background and role
* Assist with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
* Assist with planning and executing banquet and wedding functions
* Assist with menu development and execution
* To support effectively and positively any operational changes
* Ensure all HACCP regulations are adhered to
* Assist with training and onboarding of new and junior chefs
* Assist with stock takes as required
* Certification from a recognised body is preferred
* Basic Computers and Fluent English
* Ability to work as a team player
* Flexibility to work with other disciplines within the Kitchen
