Payroll Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth processing of monthly payrolls.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the processing of monthly payrolls, including overtime, promotions, and all relevant allowances;

* Support the Employee Services Manager with HR/Payroll related projects;
">
* Maintain accurate employee records and ensure transactions are processed promptly;

* Provide administrative support for HMRC transactions, including in-year and end-of-year forms;
">
* Reconcile statutory and voluntary deductions, and make payments to external agencies within set deadlines;
">
* Ensure high levels of accuracy in all transactions and processes;
">
* Administer new employee and promotion/transfer information, and maintain regular correspondence with relevant staff.

Requirements:
">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
">
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades C or above (to include English and Maths) or equivalent;
">
* At least one year's experience in payroll administration for 250+ employees;
">
* A basic knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
">
">
Working Arrangements:
">
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week, with a 1 hour lunch break per day. The office-based element will be for the first 3 months, after which there will be a 50/50 hybrid working arrangement available.

Salary:

The salary for this position will be between £25,000-£31,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
