Due to increasing client demands, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Structured Cabling / Data Technician based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work with Ireland’s largest IT network infrastructure solutions company and be involved in exciting projects, including those for large multinational companies.
Previous experience is advantageous; however, training will be provided.
What you’ll be doing as our Trainee Data Technician:
1. Wiring of copper Cat6, Cat6A, fibre, and voice cable
2. Terminating and testing copper cable
3. Pulling cables (Cat 6, Cat 6A, copper, fibre optic multicore)
4. Splicing and testing fibre cable
5. Basic cable fault finding
6. Reading and marking site drawings
7. Patching and circuits
8. Following health and safety procedures on construction sites

1. Excellent communication and time management skills
2. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
3. Flexibility to travel when needed
4. Valid Safepass
5. Own transport (desirable)
