A well-established food manufacturing company based in Newry is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its dynamic engineering team.

Key Responsibilities: Perform planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance on all electrical systems and production equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on motors, control panels, PLCs, sensors, and related machinery.
Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and modifications to existing systems.
Work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure maximum equipment uptime and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete all required documentation.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Essential Criteria: Time-served Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or food production environment.
Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious with good communication skills.
Desirable: Experience with PLC fault-finding Knowledge of refrigeration systems and automated machinery.
Familiarity with BRC, HACCP, or food industry standards.
