We're not a large corporate business and so we go the extra yard to help and develop our staff.THE JOBWe are looking for a talented Production and Cast Services Manager with experience in large scale and Irish-based musical and dance productions to oversee and manage the day to day running of our live entertainment. Having won several awards over the years for Best Live Music Entertainment the Raglan Road Irish Show is a popular feature at Raglan Road. Our daily Irish entertainment production highlights the music and dance of Ireland for tourists from around the globe. This show entertains in nine performances each week and hosts special festivals and holiday seasons. The Irish Show features approximately 30 Irish musicians, singers, and dancers, supported by experienced production staff, and highlighting both traditional and modern Irish culture. The role of Production Manager & Creative Producer requires a high-level knowledge and skill across multi-disciplines, central to the successful connection between the show, choreographers, producer, musical director, and technical design team.REQUIREMENTSEnsure the highest professional entertainment at Raglan Road, overseeing performances of entertainers, musicians, and dancers according to established standards and directives.Maintain positive and courteous communication with colleagues and cast members, adhering to Raglan Road's best practices and policies.Conduct weekly performance reviews, offering formal feedback and action points to the cast for improvement in areas such as costume, attitude, technical accuracy, and guest interactions at the pub.Provide regular weekly feedback and reports to the Director of Operations and Owners, detailing feedback given to the cast and actions taken to address any issues.Collaborate with the production team to create and refresh show content, ensuring the show evolves and continued appeal through a six-week rotation of new material for both bands & dance troupe.Collaborate with guest choreographers and Production directors to create and teach new dance routines and show elements as required to include concept, choreography, rehearsal and implementation.Lead rehearsals and practices of new and existing material with both existing and new cast members, ensuring high standards are met. Coordinate and supervise the entertainment department, including entertainment technical support, musicians, and support staff.Supervise and manage the Entertainment Cast's welfare, housing, transportation, personnel matters staying proactive in addressing any issues that may affect morale.Provide timely feedback to senior management on personnel matters affecting overall morale within the camp.Enhance the Cast experience through improved pre-arrival, onboarding, and welfare initiatives.Maintain contact with potential applicants and plan for show transitions at least six months in advance.Establish health and fitness protocols for cast members and ensure daily practice.Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in green rooms and practice facilities.Support other business departments as needed and requested by management.
