Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex software implementation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, training, and implementation of our eAuthority - ASSR Oversight Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including scope, budget, and resource allocation.
- Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensure project activities align with our goals and objectives.
- Create project organization and management sub-plans, including management authorities, responsibilities, and contacts.
- Conduct critical design review and vendor system analysis.
- Plan, facilitate, and conduct site and User Acceptance Testing.
- Perform effective Unit and Integration testing for all system modules.
- Provide technical training for ICT staff at the vendor site.
- Offer operational training for business process champions at the vendor site.
- Provide provision of Technical and end-user documentation.
- Deliver onsite user training and support.
- Configure infrastructure setup and backup/disaster recovery.
- Provide a Go-Live strategy and checklist by the vendor.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and motivate the project team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Liaise with the Scrum Master and the Product Owner to prioritize and plan agile delivery of the product.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor their progress.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide performance feedback.
- Manage vendor and third-party relationships as per project needs.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the development team and stakeholders.
- Ensure all stakeholders understand the project milestones, goals, and progress.
Requirements:
- A relevant Masters Degree.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP/PRINCE2 and/or related Project Management certification.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Experience in managing complex software implementation projects across multiple and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Risk assessment and mitigation skills.
- Experience with Agile project management tools.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks is an added advantage.
