As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of major and minor capital projects across various environments. Your expertise will ensure high standards of quality, safety, value for money, and compliance with public procurement regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing strategic commercial, procurement, and contractual advice to development programmes.
* Overseeing performance of external Quantity Surveying consultants and internal project controls.
* Supporting programme delivery, from concept to completion, aligned with national health priorities.
* Advising on strategies, cost management practices, and life-cycle cost planning.
* Ensuring projects meet government infrastructure and sustainability standards.
* Preparing and reviewing Capital Submissions, including plans, tender documentation, and performance reports.
* Contributing to the development of standardised procedures and best practices in project and cost management.
The successful candidate will have 5-7 years' relevant professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within sector, consultancy, or contractor environments.
Person Specification:
* A Level 8 qualification in Quantity Surveying, accredited by The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland or The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
* Registration as a Quantity Surveyor under the Building Control Act.
* Full professional membership of SCSI and/or RICS.
