The Commercial Insurance Team is involved in all aspects of the design, negotiation, placement, and maintenance of the Insurance Programmes providing cover for ESB Group activities worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of various insurance-related administrative tasks, including invoice processing, contractor/subcontractor insurance reviews, and documentation management.
The role involves assisting the insurance team with all aspects of their work, collaborating with team members who handle the negotiation and placement of policies ranging from €0.2m to €1m in premium terms.
The successful candidate will establish good working relationships with ESB's insurance brokers and the Management Team across ESB Group.
Key Responsibilities Maintain and develop effective relationships with ESB's insurance brokers and management teams.Manage invoice processing and ensure timely payment within credit terms.Conduct contractor/subcontractor insurance reviews and contribute to determining appropriate insurance levels for procurement activities.Assist in the negotiation and placement of policies such as Motor Fleet, Liability, Travel/Personal Accident, Wind/Solar, etc.Manage claims on relevant policies, including the ESB Motor Policy.Experience and Qualifications (Essential) Insurance or risk management qualification, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.Strong analytical skills.Knowledge of policy wordings and standard clauses.Numerical proficiency.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Location This position is based at ESB Head Office, 27 Fitzwilliam Street Lower, Dublin.
