IC Resources is happy to be supporting a long-standing semiconductor client in their search for a senior-level Emulation Engineer. This position plays a central role in the pre-silicon verification of complex power ICs, with a focus on hardware emulation and FPGA-based validation strategies.
As an Emulation Engineer, you’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams across applications, verification, design, and systems to ensure next-generation products are robust, compliant, and production-ready. Responsibilities span from developing emulation test plans and benchmarking performance to automating lab processes and verifying proprietary digital interfaces.
Key Responsibilities for the Emulation Engineer:
* Lead the design and implementation of FPGA-based emulation platforms.
* Deliver comprehensive evaluation plans for pre-silicon hardware validation.
* Benchmark performance on both FPGA and silicon against defined specifications.
* Support structured tracking of project progress and technical issues.
* Automate lab instrumentation and data analysis procedures.
* Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and optimise system performance.
Looking for an Emulation Engineer with the following Skills and Experience:
* Expertise in hardware emulation and FPGA system evaluation.
* Strong understanding of protocol interfaces and compliance testing.
* Excellent analytical and debugging skills in lab environments.
* Experience managing structured development workflows and issue tracking.
* Solid understanding of the IC product development cycle.
* UVM Experience.
