Senior HPC Engineer with GCP Onsite 4 days Dublin City Our client is a market leader in Financial Services powered by Technology and has engaged IT Search to speak to Engineers with HPC experience (and strength in GCP) to join their Dublin based team on a permanent basis.
The role is to develop, implement and manage very large infrastructure components and will require a track record of success working within HPC, general cloud (and GCP in particular), deep Linux knowledge as well as being an expert in all things Kubernetes, all this with a passion for high performance of systems.
Key Responsibilities: Hold responsibility for ongoing high performance for multiple systems (based on Linux) Manage a range of scheduling processes (HPC) Deploy storage solutions and implement containers (Kubernetes) Maintain a high level of security based thinking across all processes and deployments Areas of GCP Provisioning and infrastructure Hands on development (Go or Python) on a when required basis Requirements: HPC scheduling experience to the tune of billions of weekly jobs Deep Kubernetes knowledge, including aspects of Orchestration, Registries and more Linux configuration knowledge at scale Deploying various storage systems Demonstrated excellence in the GCP environment, preferably with certifications Please note, this is a fully onsite role in Dublin City and we can only accept applications from candidates eligible to work in the EU.
