Mechatronic Technical Project Manager Role

* Required Skills:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments such as automotive, medical devices or similar sectors.
* Proven track record of dealing with customers and stakeholders.
* Technical background in Mechanical or Hardware Engineering.
* Extensive experience in project planning and the use of planning tools like MS Project or similar software.
* Strong knowledge of design validation (DV) and process validation (PV) programs.
* Experience in Mechanical, Hardware, and Software design/technology would be advantageous.
* Familiarity with engineering drawings and drawing control is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
* Lead R&D Mechatronic development programs from conception to delivery.
* Serve as the main technical interface between R&D and customers, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
* Liaise with functional leads to drive project timelines, ensuring R&D Mechatronic planning is in place to meet project milestones.
* Identify, highlight, and mitigate project timeline risks.
* Collaborate with functional managers to compile R&D costs for Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Quotation (RFQ) purposes.
* Present project updates to peers, colleagues, and management.
* Provide support to other disciplines outside R&D, such as quality, process, purchasing, etc., to bring the project to start of production (SOP).
* Assist with all related SOP activities.
