We are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our client’s team near Killarney, Co. Kerry. You will ensure products meet quality standards by developing procedures, analyzing data, managing audits, and resolving production issues. You’ll collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and production teams to improve processes, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Support New Product Introductions with R&D and ProductionManage Engineering Change Notices and documentationDevelop and update manufacturing work instructions and proceduresLiaise with suppliers for technical and quality issuesOversee sheet metal fabrication and electrical assemblyManage Bills of Material and drive cost-saving initiativesCoordinate preventive maintenance and external contractorsConduct safety audits, attend meetings, and support 5SLead ISO and other regulatory auditsCollect and analyze quality data for senior managementAddress quality issues via Corrective Action ReportsManage supplier returns, credits, and quality KPIsHost internal quality meetings and prepare reportsRequirements:2+ years’ experience in a similar positionQualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (non-FDA preferred)Experience in sheet metal and electrical assembly highly desiredProficient in AutoCAD Inventor and ExcelSalary is in the region of €45 – 48,000.
