Hold a category B Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence endorsed with ATR 72-212A type.
Have at least 3 years’ work experience in a line maintenance environment.
Role
1. Ensure all scheduled line maintenance per the maintenance schedule, AMOS, and the ACE work scope is completed, with manpower planned accordingly.
2. Plan manpower to meet, when possible, all turnaround aircraft and perform walk-around inspections and checks for open work orders.
3. Order spares for all open HILs and carry out correct troubleshooting to avoid unnecessary extensions.
4. Maintain continuous liaison with the Airworthiness Control Engineer (ACE) throughout the shift to minimize delays.
5. Complete the shift diary on AMOS and inform the ACE of all defects, especially reoccurring ones.
6. Ensure all engineers on shift are aware of relevant Notices.
7. Ensure engineers under supervision work according to approved maintenance materials and are familiar with manufacturer data.
8. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the punctuality of all engineers on their shift.
9. Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
10. Ensure all personnel on shift maintain a professional appearance, including uniform standards.
11. Consult AMOS regarding defects for research to improve troubleshooting and avoid unnecessary component replacements.
12. Keep work areas, offices, break areas, and maintenance vehicles clean and tidy.
13. Return all tooling to tool stores at the end of the shift and update AMOS with current locations.
14. Keep tooling area clean; repair or reorder breakages as needed.
15. Secure and refuel all ground equipment before end of shift.
16. Implement cold weather and high winds procedures when required.
17. Report any engineer not performing duties as requested to the LMM.
18. During shift overlaps, the early shift supervisor remains in charge until their shift ends.
19. Enter technical delay reports into Event Tracking promptly after delays occur.
20. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for requesting P.P.E. for their shift and ensuring it is worn at all times.
