SummaryMaintain and Develop Site Quality Systems While Driving a Culture of Continuous ImprovementThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality, Hygiene, and Facilities Cleaning teams at our Tullamore site. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring food safety, compliance, and quality excellence across the site.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage compliance with BRC, BORD BIA, HACCP, Group and customer food standards, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives. You'll act as the key site contact for audits and regulators, support new product development, and promote a culture where food safety and quality come first.This role is site based 5 days a week.Your Key ResponsibilitiesIf you're a strong leader who thrives on maintaining high standards and solving challenges with practical solutions, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on our people, products, and processes.Key Duties IncludeEnsure site compliance with BRC, BORD BIA, HACCP, group, and customer standardsLead and develop the Quality, Hygiene, and Facilities Cleaning teamsCo-ordinate training to ensure quality and food safety competence across departmentsLead incident investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actionsManage internal audits and support third-party, customer, and regulatory auditsAct as primary contact for DAFM representatives and customer queriesOversee supplier approval and specification systemsSupport NPD and Quality teams with trials and product introductionsManage and maintain the ISO14001 systemDrive continuous improvement and embed a culture of quality excellenceAct as deputy for the Head of Technical during absenceThe Ideal CandidateDegree in Food Science or related discipline with experience in the food industryProven experience in a similar QM role, within food production - ideally dealing with a range of protiensStrong knowledge of HACCP, food legislation, quality management systems, and auditingFamiliarity with retailer specification platforms is an advantageExcellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skillsConfident leading teams and building strong cross-functional relationshipsProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and drive resultsWhy Sofina Foods?At Sofina, you'll do more than maintain standards, you'll shape them.
