Your new role as Project Development Manager
At a leading Biopharmaceutical client, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team in Dublin on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will support Senior Project Managers in the execution of large value projects or manage multiple small individual projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure project deliverables align with company policies, regulations, and codes.
* Liaise with Global Engineering/Global EHS/Global Procurement teams to ensure alignment and support project objectives.
* Develop concept and business cases in collaboration with project sponsors and end-users, working with end-users to understand requirements, develop scope, cost, and budget estimates, and present to governance for approval.
* Lead and support project teams through projects.
* Design solutions in compliance with local/corporate safety standards and legislation and corporate engineering and regulatory standards and guidelines.
* Use planning tools to hold complex projects on schedule and coordinate parallel activities.
* Coordinate with facilities, EHS, QA, etc., and manage external factors such as planning and inspections.
* Effectively utilize value engineering, constructability reviews, and similar processes to minimize capital expenditures and maximize functional value.
Requirements:
* A degree in an engineering discipline is preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a project engineer/manager across the project life cycle within a pharmaceutical environment.
* Demonstrable skills to manage and execute projects from initiation to completion.
* Demonstrable skills and competencies to manage a diverse team of engineering professionals/contractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
* Familiarity with the project life-cycle stage-gate process.
* Demonstrated understanding of the project management process, programming, scope development, design development, implementation, project closeout.
