Job Description:
As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the product development activity for customer projects. This involves conceptualizing and designing user-focused product solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design verification processes, pilot production trials, and statistical analysis of product test data using industry-standard software like Minitab.
You will also be responsible for developing product specifications, creating test protocols, and conducting testing as per ISO 13485 and customer requirements. Additionally, you will work closely with customers to complete design and technical reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in product development for medical devices.
* Proven understanding of various types of manufacturing, mechanisms, materials, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturing.
* Mechanical design experience is essential.
* Highly developed project management skills, from conception to delivery.
