Care Manager
Our client is a leading provider of home care services in Ireland. We are currently seeking an experienced Care Manager to join their team in the Galway area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and assisting in providing high-quality care to vulnerable individuals, while working closely with a team of motivated carers. You will be fully supported by our dedicated support centre.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensure efficient and effective management of carer on-boarding, carer rosters, carer training/development and overall carer welfare with the support of your Regional Manager and Support Office.
* Deliver 20-hour Carer Induction Training to ensure carers are sufficiently prepared and trained in advance of providing care to all clients in your assigned area.
* Monitor daily activities using One Touch Care Management software, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and compliance at every level. Take any necessary action and escalate as required.
* Communicate closely with the Support Office regarding Scheduling runs, Client Care and HSE communication using One Touch Care Management Software.
* Identify, monitor and manage training needs within your team by implementing a career development path in line with our HR strategy.
* Conduct Client Quality Assurance reviews and record them in line with Homecare and HSE Standards.
* Flexibility to take responsibility for all reasonable duties that support the provision of the highest level of care.
Requirements
* QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (or higher)
* Experience in Home Care or Community Care Sector in a Supervisory or Management role
* Experience in using One Touch Care Management software is desirable
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Well organised and process driven
