Contract12 month FTC (with possibility of full-time post at end of contract) - Full TimeWorking Hours37 hours Monday to FridayLocationAshtown Gate, DublinHybrid WorkingWe currently operate a hybrid working policy with a mix of working from the office and home.Your new opportunityReporting to the Community Engagement and Communications Manager, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Energia Renewables team and will work across a range of Renewables projects, from the initial development and consultation phase through construction and into operation.You will be responsible for liaising with local communities, residents, businesses and locally elected politicians in the areas surrounding our projects and operational assets. Part of your role will also include copywriting and content creation for external communications, including project information publications, newsletters, website updates, community consultation reports, media releases and social media posts.This role is very varied and requires flexibility. Some days you will be working out on site and may occasionally need to stay overnight due to travelling long distances to and from projects, including our sites in Counties Kerry and Clare.A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is essential.What you'll needRelevant degree or equivalent qualification in areas such as Public Relations, Media, Marketing or Stakeholder Engagement.Previous experience of managing relations and resolution of issues with internal and external stakeholders and third parties – preferably in a community-focused role.Excellent and proven multi-platform communications skills across all channels with a good understanding of different apps and formats and an attention to detail, including content creation, copywriting and proof reading.Experience in renewables, or other major infrastructure, project development and construction works.Full clean driving licence and access to vehicle for use in the role, which includes travel to projects and operational sites across the island of Ireland and some overnight stays due to distance.If you are enthusiastic about this role but don't meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
