Responsibilities (Text Only)
* Azure Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical authority for Azure in the corporate segment. Shape and support Azure solution strategy in top opportunities, including optimal architecture selection (IaaS/PaaS), performance and cost considerations, and alignment with the customer’s IT landscape. Collaborate closely with Cloud Solution Architects and Digital Solution Specialists to meet Azure consumption targets and ensure solutions are designed for long-term success.
* Cross-Workload Support: Support technical sales execution across all solution areas by working with Regional Solution Area Sales Leads and the STU. Ensure alignment of technical resources in AI Business Solutions (Workforce AI & AI Business Process), Security with overall account priorities. Coordinate multi-solution technical proposals, such as combined Azure + Teams + Security solutions for digital transformation initiatives.
* Technical Community Leadership: Support first-line managers of Digital Solution Engineers and Architects to foster a vibrant technical community. Organize forums like "brown bag" sessions, architecture reviews, and hackathons for knowledge sharing. Lead regional technical calls on emerging tech or recent wins/losses. Mentor less-experienced Solution Engineers to develop their expertise, ensuring continuous mastery and support.
* Elevate Technical Mastery: Promote skill development and certifications across technical roles. Set expectations and track attainment of key certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Drive programs like Level 200 Sales and Level 400 Technical readiness to ensure team capabilities in consulting and solution architecture.
* Drive Key Technical Initiatives: Lead regional technical sales initiatives such as SAP on Azure migrations and GitHub for Developers integration. Monitor progress and adjust strategies to achieve FY26 goals.
* Collaboration with ATU/STU/CSU: Work proactively with account and specialist team leads to accelerate deals and resolve technical roadblocks. Lead or participate in joint deal reviews, ensuring well-scoped proof-of-concepts and addressing dependencies.
* Channel & SE&O Engagement: Integrate partners and Microsoft’s cloud engineering resources into sales motions. Collaborate with PSS Lead to incorporate specialized partner solutions into opportunities. Coordinate with SE&O for technical marketing programs and customer workshops. Advocate for regional technical needs, facilitating connections for partner solutions or engineering engagements.
Qualifications (Text Only)
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, with extensive technical pre-sales or consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
Preferred/Additional: Same educational background with additional experience in cloud/hybrid/on-premises architectures, migrations, industry standards, or technology management. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, Azure exams, Security). Experience in solution sales or consulting. Skills in strategic thinking, execution, negotiation, organization, presentation, and relationship building. A high performer with a collaborative mindset.
