From refugee camps to disadvantaged schools worldwide, we believe coding opens doors to creativity, opportunity, and a brighter future.The RoleWe are looking for passionateVolunteer Coding Teachersto help us bring coding education to children who need it most. As part of our global team, you will deliver fun, engaging lessons in coding and computational thinking—helping students build skills and confidence for the future.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach coding basics (Scratch, Python, robotics, or similar) to children aged 7–16.Deliver online or in-person lessons, adapted to diverse learning environments.Support students in creating coding projects, games, and animations.Collaborate with IKCA staff and volunteers to share best practices and resources.Inspire and motivate children to dream and achieve through technology.What We're Looking ForEnthusiasm for teaching, technology, and children's education.Basic coding knowledge (Scratch, Python, or similar).Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).Patience, creativity, and empathy.Teaching/tutoring experience is welcome but not required—training provided.What We OfferThe chance to make a tangible difference in children's lives.Training and access to IKCA teaching materials.International volunteer experience with a non-profit organisation.Certificate of volunteering and recommendation letters upon request.A global community of like-minded educators and changemakers.
