Ecological Consultant Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Ecological Consultant to join our team. As an Ecological Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality ecological consultancy services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver individual contracts with excellence, ensuring that ecological consultancy services meet the highest standards.
* Provide specialist ecological input across various projects, including renewable energy, waste management, and civil infrastructure sectors.
* Plan, conduct, and supervise ecological surveys and fieldwork activities, as well as prepare and oversee the implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).
* Lead the preparation of Appropriate Assessments, Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs), Biodiversity Chapters for Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) and other environmental reporting requirements.
* Produce high-quality technical reports and project deliverables, ensuring quality control across all project outputs.
* Act as an expert witness at Oral Hearings when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in ecology and a proven track record of delivering high-quality ecological consultancy services. You will also need excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
