We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable receptionist to join our medical practice. As the first point of contact for patients, the Doctor's Receptionist plays a key role in providing excellent customer service, managing appointments, and supporting the smooth operation of the clinic.
Key responsibilities
* Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
* Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
* Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using the clinic's system.
* Register new patients and update existing patient information.
* Manage the patient check-in and check-out process efficiently.
* Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.
* Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, faxing, and data entry.
* Process billing, co-pays, and other payments as needed.
* Liaise with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure smooth workflow.
* Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
* Demonstrate IT proficiency (Outlook, Excel and other software)
* Be Open to learning and developing new skills
