Job Title: Area SupervisorLocation: Dublin, IrelandReports To: Head Office / Area ManagerHours: Typically 18:00 PM to 22:00 PM (flexible)Overview:The Area Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple client sites to ensure that cleaning services are delivered to a high standard. This position is hands-on and field-based, requiring frequent site visits, quality audits, and direct interaction with staff. The role includes onboarding new staff, conducting training, managing performance, resolving issues, and supporting operational logistics such as delivery and collection of clothes, uniforms and materials, whilst using the company vehicle.This position also involves coordinating deep cleaning execution, sometimes outside of regular hours.Key Responsibilities:Site Operations & Quality Control:Conduct regular site visits to monitor cleaning standards, provide feedback, and ensure client satisfactionPerform cleaning audits and document findings, including photos and follow up actionsAddress any immediate quality or service delivery concerns on-siteReport issues and updates to the Head OfficeStaff Supervision & Onboarding:Onboard and train new staff to company standards and proceduresProvide ongoing support and guidance to existing staffMonitor attendance, punctuality, and performanceHandle minor conflicts, performance improvement, and initial disciplinary actionsPromote a positive and productive work environment, all the while sharing SeaClean Company valuesOperational Logistics:Use of a Company vehicle to deliver and collect uniforms, cleaning supplies, and other materials between sitesCoordinate the storage and restocking of site-specific itemsEnsure all equipment and materials are present and in good working order, and conducting monthly audits on equipmentStaff Relationship & Upselling:Build and maintain good relationships with leads onsiteIdentify opportunities for upselling services (e.g., deep cleaning, floor care) and communicate these to the Operations ManagerSupport the planning and execution of approved jobs, which may include out of office hoursQualifications & Skills:Proven experience in cleaning supervision or field operations (cleaning industry preferred)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage people, resolve conflicts, and coach for performanceExcellent attention to detail and a proactive attitudeFull, clean driving license (Automatic vehicle)Comfortable using basic digital tools (e.g., Google Sheets, WhatsApp, photo apps)Flexibility to support occasional weekend work when requiredWorking Conditions:This is a mobile position with regular travel between sites using a company-provided vehicleFlexibility is required to accommodate out of office hours site visitsUniform, laptop / iPad, and mobile phone providedReports To:Head OfficeNote: This job description provides a general overview of the responsibilities and requirements for the Area Supervisor role.
