Overview
The role sits in the Settlement, Stakeholder Engagement and Registration team. The role holder will work collaboratively across the Group, engaging effectively with key stakeholders, to bring about the change necessary to deliver on our strategic ambitions. The role holder is responsible for supporting the Registration business processes and coordinating and managing the work of the controller. The role also involves the coordination of queries and subject matter expertise on behalf of Registration to the strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Supports the Pre-Registration & Registration activities of participants from all markets (SEMO/SEMOpx/Capacity Market)
* Supports the team lead in the coordination and management of queries regarding registration, prioritising solutions and making recommendations
* Providing technical support to the registration team in relation to the registration business processes
* Co-ordinates daily deliverables for the Controllers
* Identifies issues and proposes practical solutions, escalating complex issues to the Team Lead and Head of Function as appropriate
* Providing support to the strategic projects
* Owns and represents registration on projects or parts of larger initiatives and works with others to ensure projects meet deadlines and overall objectives
* Uses own initiative and knowledge to undertake complex analysis to troubleshoot operational issues and ensure that the right business solution is agreed and implemented
About You
* Relevant third level qualification, or 2+ years relevant experience, ideally in a regulated environment
* Demonstrated ability to continuously improve the way we work, creating transparent and easy to understand materials for both technical and non-technical audiences to get buy in changes proposed
* Experience gained in acting as a technical representative at a senior level, or potential to act in this capacity
* Excellent analysis, judgement and problem-solving skills along with a conclusive ability to make decisions and recommendations in a changing and dynamic environment
* Proven experience in delivering process improvement, change management and the automation of routine tasks into operational businesses
