Payroll is processed on a fortnightly basis. The person appointed will complete their tasks, including those listed below, to the highest standard.The CandidateEach candidate for the appointment mustHave a minimum 3 years professional experience in processing payrollHave a QQI Level 6 (or above) qualification in Payroll, Accountancy, Business Studies, Commerce or equivalent / recognised professional accountancy qualification / IPASS Certificate in Payroll Techniques / IPASS Professional Payroll ManagerHave strong IT skills, specifically in payroll processing tools/software and MS office skills, particularly Excel and WordHave a ‘can-do’ approach with the ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet all required deadlinesHave ability to work on own initiative and willingness to assume significant responsibility, ownership and accountabilityHave flexibility and adaptability with a logical approach to problem solving and sound judgementExcellent accuracy and attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skillsInterpersonal skills that enable you to interact with colleagues at all levels within and outside of the ServicesWritten and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearlyFluent in English, both verbal and writtenHave excellent numeracy, analytical, communication and organisational skillsHave an appreciation of the needs and rights of people with intellectual disabilitiesPossession of a “B” class clean Irish Driving Licence which qualifies you to drive on Irish roads is desirableSalary ScaleClerical Grade V – €52,235 – €62,485 incl. 2 LSI’s per annum (1/2/26 Consolidated Scales)Successful candidates are required to submit all documentary evidence outlining any relevant experience within 3 months of your starting date.
