Career Opportunity: We are seeking an Electrician to join our Engineering Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all production machinery and plant services. This includes PLCs, electrical cabinets, electrical containment, sensors, testing equipment, debugging and systems development, programming, steam, air, water etc.
Responsibilities
* Undertake preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all production machinery and plant services
* Ensure the efficient operation of production equipment and minimize downtime
* Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental objectives
* Develop and maintain knowledge of new technologies and techniques relevant to the role
Key Qualifications:
* Senior Trades level qualification or comparable European NFQ qualifications
* Diploma in an Electrical discipline
* FETAC Level 6 Accreditation or equivalent (e.g. Solas apprenticeship, City & Guilds apprenticeship)
