Quantity Surveying Advisor (Chief Assistant Technical Services Officer) Location: Regional (Cork / Kerry) - Office based in Cork Organisation Type: Public Sector – Health Infrastructure Salary: Competitive, in line with public sector pay scales Contract Type: Ongoing About the Role Our client, a state organisation's Capital Government bodies and state agencies (e.g. local authorities) Health service providers Multidisciplinary consultancies Main contractors and developers FM and estates outsourcing companies Education, transport, and utilities sectors To be eligible, candidates must have: A Level 8 (or higher) qualification in Quantity Surveying, accredited by: The Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI), orThe Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS),Or hold an equivalent recognised qualification.
Registration (or eligibility) as a Quantity Surveyor under the Building Control Act .
Full professional membership (or eligibility) of SCSI and/or RICS.
5 - 7 years' relevant professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within public sector, consultancy, or contractor environments.
Proven knowledge of public procurement legislation, capital project lifecycles, and cost planning methodologies.
Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
