About you
We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative individual to support the Development Team in the effective and timely delivery of our Grants Programmes, ensuring applications for funding are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with each programme’s rules and guidelines. This is a great role that balances delivery of excellent customer service with pragmatic processing of all grants applications. Consistency and fairness are key!
Your new role will involve:
Maintaining the Grants database and Teams folders as necessary
Processing grants applications in accordance with set criteria
Ensuring accurate documentation is maintained for each grant application
Liaison with Finance team in relation to processing of payments
Dealing with queries from applicants and escalating issues/queries as appropriate
Data collation and analysis
Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times and ensuring rigid adherence to GDPR in the management of personal information
Ad hoc provision of documentation to support effective review and completion of audits (internal and external) via the Accountant and/or Director of Corporate Services
Supporting the wider team as needed to enable Agency support to the community to be maximized (this may include occasional involvement in the preparation of or attendance at various events around Ulster, some of which may require work out of normal office hours)
Ad hoc supervision of the Grants Administrator as required
Any other duties as required and for which the role holder is adequately competent to complete
Ideally you will already have experience of working in a financial role or one which has a high degree of financial work. You may also have current or previous knowledge/experience of grants management systems or CRMs.
If you have experience in all the areas mentioned above and can satisfy the eligibility criteria below, you could be the perfect new addition to our team.
To be eligible to apply you must:
i. Be able to demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
ii. Be educated to GCSE/O-level
iii. Be able to demonstrate competency through your application form of the NICS Competency Framework at level 2
