AuxiliaGroup Recruitment is hiring an Account Director - Commercial Lines, on behalf of our client, a leading Irish insurance brokerage with a major client base.
This focus of this role will be to manage a small book of existing business and work as part of a dynamic sales team seeking and winning Commercial New Business. You will work across company sales campaigns with both New and Existing business teams while also focusing on generating larger Commercial New Business Leads for conversion.
Responsibilities:
* Account management of a small book of existing clients
* Sales and new business activity management
* Seek, quote and convert quotations for new commercial clients.
* Meet challenging income acquisition and referral targets set.
* Assist in achieving the overall objectives of the Commercial Lines New Business Team.
* Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients in an agreed timeframe and meet and exceed minimum conversion ratios and revenue targets.
* Take ownership of delivery of the highest level of customer service to all clients and prospective clients.
* Work with broking and compliance teams to ensure compliance levels are at the highest possible level and the quality of records meets required standards.
* Provide support and guidance to Account Executive(s) on clients.
* Comply with all relevant compliance legislation.
* Manage aged debt and premium collection.
* Comply with all Management Audit Requirements.
The right individual will possess the following:

* CIP qualification is a minimum standard required and ideally you will be ACII qualified or working towards this.
* 5 years commercial lines insurance industry experience is essential.
* Strong new business development skills and a demonstrable track recording of growing revenues within the insurance industry over a number of years.
* The ability to deal with and convert larger more complex commercial risks into clients.
* Strong insurance product technical knowledge and understanding.
* Compliant with the Central Bank's Minimum Competency Code and Fitness & Probity.
