Job Description
As a Senior Consultant in our Financial Control team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and support to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of hedge fund administration and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will be part of a dynamic team that provides innovative financial services and solutions to sophisticated clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Preparation and review of Operating Expenses for funds on a weekly/monthly basis.
* Production and review of month end Close Packs for various clients on weekly/monthly basis.
* Validation of Monthly NAVs and associated accounting records.
* Interact with clients and other teams to obtain understanding of funds' activities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
Fund Accounting: You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing operating expenses for funds on a weekly/monthly basis.
Investor Accounting: You will allocate profit and loss across investors share classes and series, calculate and verify class-level expenses such as management fees, and work with investor services team to ensure timely and accurate investor statements.
Financial Reporting: You will participate in financial statements preparation and review for funds on an annual basis and work directly with external auditors to ensure accuracy of each fund's annual financial statements.
Regulatory Reporting: You will prepare and review regulatory reporting for applicable funds on a monthly and quarterly basis and engage in project initiatives to strengthen and expand HFS regulatory reporting services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Knowledge and Skills: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or working towards qualification is preferred but not required. Knowledge of hedge funds and other alternative investment structures is an advantage.
Experience: You should have experience in financial analysis and client service.
Other Requirements: You will need to be able to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and be able to effectively communicate with clients and other teams.
