The role focuses on the development, delivery and oversight of high-quality clinical skills training for nursing, social care and healthcare staff.This post plays a pivotal role in building a strong clinical learning environment, supporting staff competence and confidence, and ensuring evidence-based, safe and effective care across all services. The role contributes directly to regulatory compliance, quality improvement and the continuous enhancement of clinical practice.Essential Qualifications & ExperienceNMBI Registration: Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of IrelandExperience:Minimum 5 years post-registration clinical experienceAt least 3 years in a nursing management roleTeaching Qualification:Post-registration qualification at NFQ Level 8 or higher, or written confirmation of equivalent ECTS creditsRelevant postgraduate qualification at Level 9 or higher desirableManagement & Administration:Proven ability to manage clinical training programmes and related administrationIT Skills:Competence in MS Office and learning management systems, with willingness to further develop skillsAnnual Registration:Maintain live annual NMBI registrationCompletion of annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC)Desirable:Post-registration experience in Intellectual Disability (ID) NursingEssential Competencies1.
