About the role
We are seeking a qualified Senior Commercial Finance / FP&A professional to partner closely with senior stakeholders in a high‑growth, acquisition‑led business.
The role will lead budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure planning, deliver clear and insightful management and board reporting, and provide robust financial analysis to support strategic decision making.
This role suits a commercially minded finance professional (ACA/ACCA) with experience in FP&A or Transaction Services, who enjoys combining financial planning, strategic analysis, and M&A exposure in a high‑growth, private equity‑backed environment.
Key Responsibilities
FP&A: Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and capital expenditure planning
Own and manage group‑wide capex budgets, including investment appraisal and tracking
Partner with senior stakeholders and functional leaders across multiple geographies
Deliver robust financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and capital investment decisions
Prepare and present monthly management reporting to senior leadership
Develop financial models to support investment decisions, M&A activity, and long‑term planning
Support buy‑side and sell‑side financial due diligence and related advisory work
Assess acquisition opportunities and support transaction execution and integration
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and systems
Support integration and standardisation across acquired businesses
Manage external audit relationships and coordinate audit deliverables
Oversee R&D tax credit processes and submissions
Essential Requirements
ACA / ACCA (or equivalent), ideally trained in a Big 4 firm
Strong FP&A / commercial finance experience in a high‑growth environment
Proven experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and capex processes
Experience supporting or delivering buy‑side and/or sell‑side financial due diligence
Strong stakeholder management skills, including exposure to executive teams and investors
Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
Experience in private equity‑backed or acquisition‑led businesses
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
