Job Responsibilities:
1. Decontamination Expertise: Respond to technical queries relating to decontamination and sterilization equipment.
2. Routine Device Performance Tests: Carry out routine device performance tests and complete associated documentation.
3. Servicing and Repair: Provide servicing and repair of decontamination equipment in the workshop and at the point of use throughout the hospital.
The role also involves developing specialist fields of interest within clinical engineering specific to decontamination functions, promoting JCI/JAG standards, providing assistance in equipment fault investigations, complying with safety statements guidelines procedures ensuring safety requirements statutory recommended are met.
