 
        
        IT Support Specialist
The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our organization's IT systems. This position is responsible for providing expert technical support to ensure seamless functionality and high productivity.
 * Key Responsibilities:
 * Collaborate with the Service Desk to order, build, configure new PCs, install software, and perform user-specific customizations. Deliver systems to end-users, provide orientation, and ensure proper setup.
 * Provide comprehensive hardware and software support, both on-site and remotely, covering workstation hardware, specialized business applications, and general productivity software.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Windows desktop configuration, networking, printing, and standard desktop systems.
 * Monitor and maintain the IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing system, ensuring timely updates, proper escalation, and clear communication with end-users regarding issue status.
 * Oversee, maintain, and support audiovisual equipment and related services in conference and meeting rooms.
 * Deliver exceptional technical support for senior executives and high-profile users, ensuring a seamless and efficient technology experience.
 * Provide on-site support for the Infrastructure and Operations team, assisting with local operational status of servers, WAN circuits, routers, network hubs, and switches.
 * Lead and manage local IT projects, systems, and processes to support departmental and organizational objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will require a relevant third-level degree or equivalent combination of formal technical education and relevant experience. A minimum of 3 years' experience in desktop support and helpdesk/service desk environments, with hands-on expertise in networks, operating systems, storage platforms, and virtual servers is also necessary.
