We are an independent voluntary organisation providing services and support for people with disabilities and their families. Our mission is to promote and support independent living and community integration.
The role of Programme Facilitator plays a key part in this process, by facilitating educational, developmental, recreational and occupational programmes and activities, tailored to meet the needs of service users.
* To achieve this goal, the successful candidate will be required to develop and deliver person centred programmes that cater to the specific needs of each individual service user.
* Key responsibilities also include being a key worker to facilitate Person Centred Planning, identifying goals and supports required by individual service users, and maintaining relevant records.
In order to excel in this position, you will need to have a minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care or equivalent qualification. A good knowledge of New Directions and community-based programmes is also essential.
Furthermore, it is expected that the successful candidate has experience working in a relevant setting, specifically in the field of intellectual disabilities and mental health issues. A minimum of one year's experience in this area is preferred.
