Job Title: Pricing & Portfolio Manager - Insurance Location: Dublin City Centre Working Model: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home) Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Pricing & Portfolio Manager - Insurance to join our client, a leading insurer based in Dublin City Centre. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the financial performance of retail insurance products, driving data-led decisions on pricing and portfolio strategy. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial and financial acumen, who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams and has prior experience in the insurance sector. Your Role: Own and drive portfolio management activity across key personal lines insurance products Lead initiatives to improve pricing strategy and underwriting performance using data insights Work closely with actuarial, data science, underwriting, and distribution teams to optimise commercial outcomes Monitor KPIs across product performance, retention, and profitability, and take proactive action where needed Act as the business lead on performance reviews and risk-based projects, reporting to senior leadership Support and mentor a small cross-functional team and contribute to succession planning and talent development Maintain oversight of third-party partners and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Play an active role in strategic reviews and business planning across the retail portfolio Your Skills: 5-7 years' experience in pricing, portfolio management, financial planning & analysis, underwriting, or risk - within an insurance environment Proven commercial and analytical skill set, with strong stakeholder engagement experience Prior experience leading or mentoring others and delivering results through cross-functional collaboration Professional insurance qualification (CIP or equivalent) required Additional qualifications in accounting, risk, data science, or actuarial disciplines are a distinct advantage Strong understanding of financial performance metrics and the regulatory landscape in general insurance Comfortable presenting commercial recommendations and engaging with senior stakeholders Experience using data tools or working in data-led environments will be highly regarded Should this position be of interest to you please call Tadhg at.
