Job Title: Education Facilitator
A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Education Facilitator to join our team in the Dublin Midland Regional Group.
About the Role:
The primary responsibility of this role is the co-ordination, development, provision and evaluation of comprehensive education, training and development programmes to nursing staff and health care assistants from mental health, intellectual disability, public health nursing and older persons care.
This initiative aims to develop and deliver programmes that support identified service needs and organisational objectives and priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered General Nurse with The Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or eligible to register.
* Completed an MSc in Nursing Education or an equivalent postgraduate qualification relevant to the role.
* Minimum of 5 years satisfactory post registration clinical experience in the area of practice.
* Possess the requisite clinical and educational knowledge and leadership/management ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
* Demonstrate I.T. skills including excellent keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills:
* Be registered on the Registered Nurse Tutor division as maintained by NMBI.
* Management experience.
* Experience of QQI assessment process.
* Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and creating interactive eLearning.
