As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our network security, endpoint security, enterprise logging, and cyber ops platforms.
The SecOps Engineering Operations Analyst is responsible for providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support for these critical systems. This includes:
* Triage and resolve incidents, problems, and operational issues across security platforms
* Perform root cause analysis, implement workarounds and preventive measures
* Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 support teams following defined processes
* Assist with major incident management, communication, and post-incident reviews
In addition to these responsibilities, you will provide Tier 1/2 support for routine tasks such as deployment, configuration, patching, and upgrades. You will also execute operational runbooks, maintenance activities, and health checks across platforms.
A key aspect of this role is the development and implementation of automation scripts and workflows to increase operational efficiency. You will identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and processes, evaluate and implement tools for log analysis, reporting, monitoring, and administration.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective written and verbal communication skills. You will work closely with internal teams such as security engineering, IT, and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
Our ideal candidate has 0-4 years of experience in IT operations, system/network administration, or security operations. They possess hands-on technical experience with network security, endpoint security, logging, and security tooling. A scripting ability in languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash is essential for automation tasks.
