Trade counter sales assistant with direct sales experience required for a new role with our branch Old Airport Road, Northside Dublin. This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to join a successful organisation known for its excellent reputation in customer service and care.
Overall purpose of the role
The Counter Sales Assistant will be responsible for dealing with the day-to-day sales enquiries/transactions and maintaining high standards of customer care within the branch. MUST BE PASSIONATE ABOUT SALES
· Respond to sales enquiries either by phone or over the counter, provide advice, information, quotations and ensure maximum level of sales and margin.
· Offer alternative products, promote key brands and cross brand sales
· Keep customers updated on orders and deliveries
· Stay undated with product knowledge
· Adhere to health, safety and environment rules and regulations Any other reasonable duties which may arise.
ESSENTIAL
* Previous customer facing experience in a trade environment or want to move into a role dealing with direct customers
* Must have at least a year of industrial sales experience.
* Must be extremely customer focused and results driven,
* · Flexible approach to work
* Sales experience and/or product knowledge in the PPE and Safety Industry
Benefits:
Salary based on experience.
Monday to Friday hours 8 to 5 and Friday finish 4pm
