The roleWe're hiring an External Sales Engineer to support customers and grow sales across the North & West. The work is hands-on: visiting sites, understanding problems, and recommending practical products and systems for water/wastewater, food & beverage/dairy, chemical, pharmaceutical, and other industries.ResponsibilitiesFind and develop new customers; follow up enquiries and convert them to orders.Look after existing accounts with regular calls, visits, and clear updates.Manage the sales cycle from initial enquiry to closure.Work with the Internal Sales and Technical Services teams to deliver projects.Demonstrate products and explain how they solve the customer's problem.Keep your CRM items up to date and provide straightforward sales forecasts.Plan and attend site meetings and relevant trade events.Keep an eye on competitor activity and upcoming projects.What you needTechnical sales experience in one or more of the sectors above.Experience of mechanical, electrical, process instrumentation or automation products.Excellent organisation and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate customer requirements into the right solution.Confidence communicating with engineers, buyers, and site teams.Experience with a CRM and basic sales reporting.Willing to travel across the North & West of the country.Full, clean drivers licence and the right to work in Ireland.Why work with usEstablished, respected business serving multiple critical industries.Varied work with real site exposure and technical problem-solving.Supportive team and practical training.Competitive pay with bonus and the tools you need to do the job.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €40,000.00-€55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany carWork Location: On the road
